Hi, I’m Miles!
I’ve been telling interactive stories for as long as I can remember. In kindergarten, I wrote my first ‘choose your own adventure’ book, and I've been hooked on the medium ever since. Games bring together my love of stories with play; I bring this play into my production process, both as a designer and as a producer.
I quickly found out that I couldn’t make games alone, but I was lucky to find other people to make games with early. I’ve had the privilege of working with brilliant artists, programmers, and other designers since I was in high school. I found a love of running a team and keeping things moving, which is where I started my path to game production. In high school, I forged these production skills in the robotics classroom, where I led my team to an international title in Taiwan.
I try to embody the “wise fool” in more ways than one. I am constantly learning, and I try to be endlessly curious, but to be wise, I acknowledge that I am a fool. There is always more to learn, see, and do, and with everything I make, I learn something.
When I'm not making games, I’m probably playing trumpet in the Trojan Marching Band, where I get to lead my own squad of 4. If not that, I'm watching the Dodgers or finally getting around to watching that one movie that’s been on my list.
